About Me
Hello world!
My name is Fig and to know me is to love me. Mind you, not my words, but an observation I have made since my arrival to LAW.
I am truly the most uncomplicated dog you could want: I’m good with my dog pals, good with humans (especially if they bring treats!) and a very good girl in general!
What Makes Me Special
Check out my ears! I’m the best listener around here, because I always have an open ear for my pals, hehe!
There is actually quite a sad backstory to it (please read more about that below), but it has left me with this quirky feature which gets me lots and lots of smiles from the humans here. I like when everyone is happy and I especially love helping with achieving that!
The nice people here at LAW think I look quite mischevious with my one ear up.
However, I am actually a very good dog. I walk on my leash effortlessly and never hesitate to give big sloppy kisses to my visitors!
Why am I Here at Lanta Animal Welfare?
I was brought to Lanta Animal Welfare because of a terrible ear infection. In the beginning, it hurt a lot and the whole side of my head was very sore and tender, so I couldn’t bear anyone’s touch.
The road to recovery was long, but I am happy to announce that I was able to keep both my ears. If you’re extra gentle with me I’ll even let you give me some nice head scritches!
Now I am ready for the big wide world out there and eager to start a life with whoever wants to adopt me!
